A Veterinary Decision Support System

by Rapid Bacterial Infection Detection (RAID)

Objective

The objective of our project is to provide a cost effective veterinary decision support system (RAID) for the rapid detection of bacterial infections in poultry (mainly Broiler chicken) farming using spectrometry based method.

The background and principle of the RAID method is summarized in this video animation.

SME Instrument Phase 1

We have completed an H2020 SME Instrument Phase 1 project, entitled, “A Veterinary Decision Support System by Rapid Bacterial Infection Detection (RAID)” financed by the Research Executive Agency of the European Commission under contract number 744038 between 1st November 2016 – 28th February 2017.

SME Instrument Phase 2

We are executing a H2020 SME Instrument Phase 2 project, entitled, “A Veterinary Decision Support System by Rapid Bacterial Infection Detection (RAID)” financed by the Research Executive Agency of the European Commission under the contract number 859156 between 1st Aprl 2019 – 31rd March 2021.
