The RAID team successfully validated the developed method. We proved that our method is suitable for RAPID detection of bacterial infection in poultry. The result of the RAID method was compared with results of standard cultivation measurement. The best performance was achieved when we analysed organ samples. As a result of more than one thousand sample measurement, the accuracy of the RAID method is 99% (ratio of correctly identified samples over all samples measured.
